This is a small site without much going for it. It’s very close to its nearest neighbour, Site 5, so much so that I wouldn’t want to stay here if someone was already on Site 5. And if someone isn’t already on it, go there instead.

The site has a small footprint and sits at the top of a short grade up from the water. The canoe landing is a bit overgrown, I expect because people don’t tend to use this site too much. There’s a small slip that you’ll want to go nose first into. On the plus side, the underwater terrain was free of obstructions, and would be fine for swimming once you’re past the shoreline growth.

The fire pit is located towards the back of the site with a decent view out to Ryan. It’s a basic pit, with a single decaying log “bench” for seating. Nearby there are a couple of small pads that would work for a tent. Apart from that? The most interesting feature is the (short) path connecting Sites 5 and 6. Why is it interesting? It’s not. It’s just less uninteresting than the rest of the site.

Are there better sites nearby? Yes. I’d take Site 4 and Site 5 over this one.
